The architecture of a legging

Inside the 14 pattern pieces, bonded seams and Italian knit behind our Kinetic Sculpt Legging.

The architecture of a legging

Every Gamma Design legging begins as a sketch of the body in motion, not at rest. We map where the fabric needs to hold, where it needs to give, and where a seam would interrupt the line.

Our Kinetic Sculpt Legging uses 14 pattern pieces — nearly twice the industry norm — so compression can be placed precisely: firmer through the waist and thigh, softer behind the knee.

The knit is milled in northern Italy from recycled nylon. It is brushed on the inside for softness and finished matte on the outside, so it looks as considered on the street as it does on the mat.

The result is a piece that disappears when you move and holds its shape after hundreds of wears. That is the standard we design to.
